Journal Entry #2

In the second part of the class Philippine Games, we played another set of games. But this time, most of them are invented games but still, it can be seen that the games are based on the previous ones that we have already played. From what I have observed, the games in the second part are not that physical compared to the previous ones.

Since I am not a fan of invented games, the game I appreciated the most in the second part of the class is Dr. Quack-Quack. Though it is not that physical compared to the games I often prefer. This game somewhat gave the students bonding time and destroyed the "nagkakahiyaan" state among them since it involves contact.

Pares-Panyo, Cadena de Amor and Digmaan ng Bilog are also some of the games that I really appreciated. Since I am a football player, I like games which involves teamwork, coordination and some physicality. And these games really qualified in that criteria that is why I really appreciated them.

I also appreciated the game, Habulang Buntot. In the second part of the class, the games started to get less physical. There are lesser running time and this game really made me ask for more invented games.

The semester ended with us having a sem-ender party. It can be seen that we still didn't get enough of Philippine Games. We ended the semester playing Pinoy Henyo, another game that is proudly Pinoy! :)
